Mwahahahaa.. *cough cough* I mean... Oh, woe is me...
:iconambrosecollector:
1 D
2 B
3 B, But I also really like non-numeric systems, as hard as they are to work with.
4 C
5 B, maybe not specifically, but the players (myself included) want to feel important and have an impact on the game.
6 D, let the player describe it aloud freeform, but stats should, in themselves, also contain a lot of info on the character’s life.
7 Stupid question, in some ways. I mean, in any given system I’d have a strong preference. I usually like d6s and d10s for die pools, for instance.
8 C, it’s easy and free.
9 B, I’m playing a game, not solving the air speed of an unladen swallow
10 Hidden option E, Math is acceptable, but should represent something very real about your character, or else be very easy.

1.) D -I love feeling powerful, and nothing says power like rolling 6 d6 for damage!

2.) D -Huge, since you can get much more exact.

3.) I guess Bish or Cish? I just need to know how to reference my own abilities and quickly once my character is built. I know how they act and all and what they look like. I need to know what I'm able to do in numbers, and quickly.

4.) C -Mid power. I need to start with something to feel awesome to start with, and then get better.

5.) This varies. It depends on how powerful the campaign characters are to start with, and what the premise of the story is. Honestly, I feel this needs to be variable and up to the GM on a per-game basis.

6.) B -A large amount needs to be there, but not necessarily have to be used. If someone really needs to go into a larger description than a quarter page, they can attach a sheet of loose leaf.

7.) Uh, where's the GURPS love? d6 all the way D:

8.) C -I always print mine, and I usually use two other sheets of paper: one for the character sketch and another for extra details on powers and abilities that need to be kept track of.

9.) A -You should have made the character and the rules out well enough that you only HAVE to roll instead of using other factors.

10.) Between C and D. I feel it's a necessity in gaming and integral to the experience.
